Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary:
A printing company is seeking a associate for their print room.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
•Operates job specific equipment and/or computer programs in order to print, assemble, bind, collate and fold a variety of products
•Interacts with other manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth and efficient flow of orders
•Receives and stores shipments of goods
•Trains and oversees progress with temporary employees
•Reports equipment requiring repair to the Bindery Supervisor and the Mechanic/Maintenance Supervisor
•Examines products throughout the Bindery process for defects
•Attention to detail and Quality control
•Adheres to all safety procedures
•Other duties as assigned by the Bindery Supervisor
•Maintain adequate supply of materials needed to perform tasks effectively.
•Effectively clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas
•Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
•Maintain a safe and clean work space
•Follow established safety rules and regulations
•Must be capable of lifting 50lbs
•Must be able to bend and stoop
Qualifications and Skills:
•Knowledge of a personal computer
•Committed to quality, safety and communication
•Team-oriented and self-directed
•Background check required
•Drug test required
