Mount Airy, NC – WorkForce Carolina, a local full service employment firm, was recognized September 19, 2014, as one of the 50 Fastest Growing, privately held businesses in the Triad. The event was held at Carolina Theater in Greensboro, NC, and Teresa Lewis, President & Chairman of WorkForce Carolina, accepted the award on behalf of the firm. The Business Journal has sponsored the Fast 50 event for 16 years and this is the sixth time WorkForce Carolina has ranked in the Fast 50. A business must be a private, for profit, venture; be headquartered in the Triad ; and have completed 3 full years in business with annual revenue of at least $2 million. The CPA firm, Smith Leonard, confidentially reviews the financial statements of participating companies in order to determine the fastest growing businesses.
