Position Summary:
This role is responsible for operating and tending to manual and automated manufacturing equipment to complete production work orders. Duties include machinery setup, raw material handling, quality inspection, machine maintenance, and accurate production documentation. Employees are expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety standards and assist with enforcement.
Complete production tasks per written/verbal instructions or samples.
Set up materials and operate machinery based on product specifications.
Adjust machine settings, feed raw materials, and monitor the production process.
Inspect products using measurement tools; identify and report flaws or contamination.
Perform routine equipment testing and report malfunctions.
Record production data manually or electronically, including approved units, rejects, timekeeping, and more.
Ensure materials are adequately stocked for task completion.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production conditions.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery.
Participate in training and meet job-specific certification requirements.

Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) months of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Read basic instructions, write simple sentences, and communicate effectively.
Math Skills: Perform basic arithmetic using common units of measurement and currency.
Reasoning Ability: Apply logical thinking to carry out routine instructions and resolve minor issues.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use digital panels or handheld devices.
Physical Demands:
Extended periods of standing and repetitive motions (bending, reaching, pushing/pulling).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
Requires good close-range vision and mental focus.
Work Environment:
Loud manufacturing floor with industrial machinery and moving materials.
May require exposure to high-speed equipment or rotating machinery.
Use of PPE is mandatory in designated areas: safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, respirators, etc., depending on the work zone.
May involve working in non-climate-controlled areas and being cross-trained in various tasks, including machine operations and simple assembly.
