Our client is a proud leader in the textile industry and has been producing fabric in the aircraft, railway and bus industries for over 100 years. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for 6 to 9 looms as assigned • Repair filling and warp breaks • Identify, repair, and/or report defects • Check dye lot and size of fill and communicate needs to material handlers • Doff and blow off machines • Record down times and pick counts; set pick clock • Discard waste selvage • Prepare machines for next shift and communicate with them needs and problems • Straighten crossed warps when possible • Be aware of loose ends and lint mats • Assist others when possible • Assist in keeping weave room clean and organized • Communicate with fixers to assist in finding faults with machines • Record needed information on piece tickets • Assist in making style changes and starting looms • Perform duties relating to style changes and new warp start-up as assigned • Any reasonable task assigned by supervisor What You’ll Bring • Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds • Ability to distinguish color
