Our client located in Kernersville, North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician – First Shift to join our high-performing team. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is your chance to make an impact where precision matters.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues on stamping and assembly equipment
- Implement proactive repairs based on daily observations
- Build, modify, and maintain hand assembly machines
- Weld, install, and test equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to the team
- Participate in machine improvement meetings and continuous training
What You Bring:
- Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in metal stamping or manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, servo drives, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
- Familiarity with safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and PPE standards
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
