Maintenance Worker (role opening December 2025)
Position Summary
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of all facilities and equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Assist in facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
3+ years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient with maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Basic welding or fabrication skills.
