Position Summary:
The Box Labeler is responsible for accurately applying labels to boxes and packaged products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. This role ensures all items are correctly identified, meet quality specifications, and are prepared for shipment or further processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply labels to boxes and packaging materials with accuracy and consistency.
Verify product information on labels to ensure correct item numbers, lot codes, quantities, and destinations.
Inspect labeled boxes for proper placement, legibility, and quality compliance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Monitor inventory of labels, adhesive materials, and related supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
Follow production schedules and meet required labeling quotas and timelines.
Communicate any discrepancies or labeling errors to supervisors promptly.
Assist with general packaging, sorting, or assembly tasks when required.
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Operate labeling equipment or machinery, if applicable, following proper operating guidelines.
