Assembly Technician 1st shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
The Assembly Technician is responsible for accurately assembling products and components according to specifications, quality standards, and production timelines. This role requires attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical instructions in a fast-paced environment. The technician works closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble components, parts, or products according to blueprints, work orders, or written/verbal instructions.
Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S or general housekeeping guidelines.
Document production totals, material usage, and any issues encountered during assembly.
Assist with troubleshooting minor issues related to assembly processes.
Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related technical field preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and production documentation.
Strong hand–eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
