Job Title: Order Picker

Shift/Hours/Days: 1st Shift 7am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Client Profile 

The client is best known as a leading manufacturer of commercial floor care equipment and specialty cleaning chemicals. The company has been an innovator in the janitorial and facility maintenance industry for more than 40 years and is recognized worldwide for its floor maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick materials, components, and finished products based on work orders and pick lists.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
  • Stage materials for production, shipping, or internal distribution.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training and certification provided if applicable).
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or inventory management systems.
  • Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or shortages.
  • Keep the warehouse and inventory areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace policies.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely fulfillment of material requests.
  • Perform other inventory and warehouse duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or order picking experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions.
  • Basic computer and barcode scanner experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
