Position Overview

A growing manufacturing employer in Daleville, Virginia is seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant / Recruitment Coordinator to support a high-volume production hiring initiative. This individual will help coordinate the recruitment process for more than 170 production associates who must be identified, screened, and scheduled quickly.


This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and service-focused professional who enjoys working with candidates, managing multiple priorities, and supporting a fast-moving recruitment process. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to ensure Spanish-speaking applicants receive clear communication and translation support throughout the hiring process.


This is a strictly temporary assignment expected to last approximately two to three months. The position is not intended to convert to long-term employment.


Key Responsibilities

• Review employment applications and identify candidates who meet established position requirements

• Conduct initial telephone screenings to confirm candidate qualifications, availability, interest, and basic employment information

• Communicate regularly with hiring managers regarding candidate status, screening results, interview availability, and overall recruitment progress

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers

• Provide timely follow-up to applicants throughout each stage of the hiring process

• Assist Spanish-speaking candidates by providing interpretation and translation support when needed

• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview schedules, screening notes, and recruitment tracking information within an Workday (ATS)

• Help ensure candidates receive clear instructions regarding interviews, required documentation, and next steps

• Support additional recruitment and administrative activities related to the production hiring initiative


Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required

• Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, customer service, administrative support, or scheduling is preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to conduct professional and consistent telephone screenings

• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail

• Ability to manage a high volume of candidates, calls, emails, and scheduling requests

• Comfortable communicating with candidates and hiring managers at multiple levels

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally

• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, or similar administrative technology is preferred

• Ability to work onsite in Daleville, Virginia for the full duration of the assignment


Assignment Details

Employment Type: Temporary contract assignment

Expected Duration: Approximately 2 to 3 months

Conversion Potential: This assignment does not have the potential for direct hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m; 30-minute unpaid lunch

Work Location: Onsite in Daleville, Virginia

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
