Job Summary
The Equipment Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized filter-making and equipment areas. This position cleans production equipment and surrounding areas, removes waste and cardboard, restocks supplies, and ensures equipment components are properly cleaned and returned to production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and remove waste from filter-making and equipment areas.
- Clean equipment and surrounding areas using compressed air, vacuums, cloths, paper towels, brushes, brooms, dust pans, and putty knives.
- Remove waste and cardboard and place materials in designated disposal areas.
- Restock equipment areas with necessary supplies and water buckets.
- Remove glue pots and other equipment components from production complexes and transport them to the designated cleaning area for cleaning.
- Return and replace cleaned equipment components in their appropriate locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper equipment-cleaning practices.
- Perform other cleaning and production-support duties as assigned.
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve exposure to dust, odors, equipment noise, and cleaning activities. Employees must be comfortable working around production equipment and performing physical cleaning tasks.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to safely use basic cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Previous manufacturing, industrial cleaning, or production experience is preferred but not required.
