Material Handler/Forklift 1st shift

Shift Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for stocking and delivering raw materials to production lines while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This position works closely with production team members to ensure materials are available when needed and may occasionally assist with forklift operations in shipping and receiving areas.

Essential Job Duties

• Stock and deliver raw materials to designated production areas.
• Clean and stock cans, lids, and nicotine powder hoppers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members.
• Monitor material needs and ensure production lines remain supplied.
• Follow all company safety procedures and work practices.
• Occasionally assist with forklift operations in shipping and receiving areas.
• Perform additional material-handling duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production environment.
• May be exposed to strong odors depending on the flavor/material being handled.
• May work around moving equipment and forklifts.
• Requires attention to safety and cleanliness at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous material-handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work in an environment where strong odors may be present.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle and move materials as required.
• Ability to work around production equipment and forklifts.
