Job Summary

The Forklift / Material Handler is responsible for stocking and delivering raw materials to production lines while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. This position supports production by ensuring materials are available when needed, cleaning and stocking production supplies, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock and deliver raw materials and supplies to designated production lines.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient material flow throughout the production area.
  • Clean and stock cans, lids, and nicotine powder hoppers.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure production lines have the necessary materials and supplies.
  • Operate a forklift as needed to assist with material movement and shipping and receiving activities.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials at shipping and receiving docks.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
  • Perform other material-handling and production-support duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing and production environment and may involve exposure to dust, equipment noise, and strong odors depending on the flavor or materials being handled. Employees must be comfortable working around production equipment and materials and performing physical material-handling duties.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous forklift or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to complete required forklift training.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to safely perform physical job duties, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
  • Must be comfortable working around strong odors associated with certain production materials.
