Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Cleaning / Parts Cleaning Technician to support our manufacturing operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the production area by cleaning machinery, equipment, and surrounding workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain manufacturing machines and equipment following maintenance team activities
Perform parts cleaning and general machine detailing
Vacuum and blow out machines to remove dust, debris, and buildup
Wipe down machine guards, surfaces, and surrounding equipment
Sweep production complex and work areas regularly
Mop floors and clean spills as needed
Maintain and organize cleaning carts, tools, and supplies
Ensure assigned machines and areas are cleaned thoroughly each day (typically 1–2 machines daily)
Follow all safety procedures and company cleanliness standards
Assist with additional housekeeping or production support duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, industrial cleaning, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Work Environment
Manufacturing / industrial facility
Exposure to dust, noise, and moving equipment
PPE may be required depending on work area
