Our client is recognized for producing residential upholstered furniture. The Galax facility provides a manufacturing environment where employees work with materials, components, assembly processes, and finished furniture products
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components using hand tools and basic equipment.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions, diagrams, and production specifications.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation when required.
- Identify defective materials or products and report quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Meet established production goals and maintain consistent productivity.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good attendance and reliability are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
