The Fabricator/Assembler is responsible for building, assembling, and fabricating components and equipment according to engineering drawings and production specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet quality, safety, and performance standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to fabricate and assemble components
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal and/or mechanical parts using hand and power tools
Perform basic welding, fastening, or fitting of parts as required
Align and position components to ensure proper assembly and fit
Conduct quality checks to verify finished products meet specifications
Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, and welding tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly or fabrication issues
Support other departments or production tasks as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and lifting
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment
