The Assembly Worker is responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling product components on the manufacturing floor in accordance with company standards and procedures. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality products, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting team production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assembly of parts, components, and finished products following established work instructions and quality guidelines.
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery to complete assembly tasks.
Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, reporting issues to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production documentation as required.
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist in quality checks and testing of assembled products as needed.
Participate in team meetings and improvement activities to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials (typically up to 25–50 lbs) throughout a shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed on a manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, machinery, and normal factory conditions.
Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual handling of parts.
Must be able to work assigned shift hours and occasional overtime as needed.
1st shift- 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
