Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift while supporting daily material movement and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, comfortable working with computers and information systems, and has a strong commitment to efficient and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and position materials throughout the facility.
  • Organize materials and maintain an orderly work area.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze information related to daily operations.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Manage time effectively while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use computer systems to enter, retrieve, and review information.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and workflow.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and production operations.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. The Forklift Operator must be comfortable working around moving equipment, materials, and other employees while maintaining a strong focus on safety and organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze information.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
