Job Summary:
A leading printing company is seeking a qualified candidate for their inserter position
Role Description:
Insert Mail Machine Operator, EverView is looking for someone who can operate an inserter machine safely and ensure job tickets meet quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to interpret job tickets.
- Understands basic postal concepts.
- Ability to load and unload stock properly for the job to be run.
- Consistently demonstrate the proper way to lift materials.
- Consistently meets quota to accurately sort product by first and third class and/or consistently exceed production quota.
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed to keep work area clean and clear of debris.
- Abides by the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
- Good attendance and timeliness are essential.
Employment Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment at once.
- A self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
NOTE: This position is essential during ‘Busy Season’ (October-December). Normal working hours may be extended (All Over-Time is Mandatory). Workdays will move to 6 days per week. Time off during this season is limited and must be approved by management.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
