KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of crew members in the installation of hardscapes, plantings, irrigation, lighting, and other landscape features.
  • Read and interpret design plans, layout projects on-site, and ensure precise execution.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Operate construction equipment such as skid steers and excavators safely and efficiently.
  • Supervise site safety, cleanliness, and crew professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Train and mentor crew members, maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in the field while maintaining a solutions-focused approach.
  • Track job progress and provide regular updates as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in landscape installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, including hardscapes, plantings, lighting, and irrigation.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, measure accurately, and manage on-site logistics.
  • Skilled in operating landscape construction equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and other machinery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on team development and job quality.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Preferred certifications (or willingness to obtain):
    • Certified Plant Professional
    • Pesticide Applicator License
    • ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) Certification
    • Irrigation License or equivalent experience
