Maintain proper unit conditions and patrols the unit to insure proper mechanical and quality operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintain your personal safety at all times; immediately report all unsafe conditions, accidents, or near
misses immediately; attend required safety meetings and training; follow all safety rules for this
location.
· Insure that work orders are generated and that they are closed out at end of a production run.
· Insure that all controls are set properly.
· OK start of unit.
· Keep track of material as it is proceeded checking quality during processing.
· Send swatches to Lab for testing.
· Adjust unit to meet fabric standards.
· Responsible for general housekeeping on and around unit.
· Responsible for wrapping roll and sending to packing station along with proper piece ticket after
doffing.
· Report any quality concerns, deviations from process sheets or mechanical problems to Department
Manager or Supervisor.
· Empty waste and keep records.
· Perform any other duties directed by supervisor
