Client Profile:
The Client is an American global contract logistics company that manages outsourced supply chains and warehousing, and reverse logistics for blue-chip customers in over thirty countries.
Job Duties:
Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to safely push, pull, lift, stack, and move products, equipment, and materials
Utilize handheld scanners with a high level of accuracy to track inventory and shipments
Load and unload trailers as required to support daily operations
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence and safety standards
Understand and adhere to the Client’s supply chain quality policies and procedures
Perform inbound receiving processes, including verification and documentation of shipments
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
Certification and experience operating powered industrial lift trucks
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
Preferred qualifications:
Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills with both leadership and peers
Physical requirements:
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift more than 75 lbs.
Ability to handle objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
Capable of bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
Use of hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including hot and cold environments
