JOB SUMMARY:
The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting a variety of tests on samples of fabric to ensure those samples meet the quality standard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
• Conduct up to eleven different tests on assigned fabric samples. Tests include:
Shrinkage Hand tests Antimicrobial
Torque Pilling Shade matching
Colorfastness Snag Color block
Durability Wicking
• Complete written reports on test results
• Inspect customer orders routed through QA Lab
• Assist customer service with item information such as specifications, fabrics, etc.
• Other quality-related inspections or activities as needed
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate testing equipment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to learn to administer the various types of fabric tests
• Ability to complete written reports in English
• Ability to operate a computer and tablet technology including Microsoft programs
• Ability to count and perform basic mathematical calculations such as calculating percentages
• Ability to use a tape measure
