Job Title: Sample Attendant
Client Profile: Our client specializes in woven and knitted mattress panels, border fabrics, and headboard materials, while also distributing upholstery and curtain textiles.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and promoting safe work practices to help ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing and assembly of fabric samples, adhering to quality standards and company policies,
• Oversee receipt, storage, and organization of incoming fabric rolls and sample materials, maintaining accuracy, labeling and documentation.
• Verify and record punch weight specifications, material information, and technical sample data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move fabric samples and operate a forklift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems for data entry purposes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment through effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Previous textile experience is helpful but not required.
