JOB SUMMARY:
The Lift Operator Lead is expected to be self-motivated and require little to no supervision. The candidate must exhibit strong leadership qualities to inspire team members towards high performance. This includes motivating and communicating effectively with team members to accurately and efficiently put away received finished goods into racking. The lead will be responsible for opening up and closing down the DC on each weekend work day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
•Communicate with the direct supervisor regarding issues as they arise.
•Become proficient in warehouse management systems and equipment operation.
•Follow procedures for operating powered lift equipment safely and efficiently.
•Audit materials and batches to be put away for accuracy.
•Direct Lift Operators, balancing workload to ensure continuous workflow.
•Address any issues related to workload and operations.
•Manage associate schedules to meet operational demands.
•Responsible for generating production reports as needed.
