The Utility Warehouse Associate supports production and shipping operations by collecting, transporting, staging, and documenting materials in accordance with production schedules and pick lists. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring materials flow efficiently from warehouse to production and outbound shipping.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver materials to production lines based on production schedules
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, turret trucks, and other material-handling equipment
Retrieve inventory accurately according to pick lists and part numbers
Stage finished goods and assist with loading and unloading trucks
Maintain accurate in-process inventory counts and documentation
Record material movement, quantities, and storage locations
Perform pre-use equipment inspections and report issues
Operate material wrapping machines for finished goods
Report inventory discrepancies and partner with production teams
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Forklift and material-handling equipment experience
Warehouse experience preferred
Inventory management system experience (beneficial)
OSHA compliance and safety awareness
Willingness to train on additional machinery (including turret trucks)
Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail
Familiarity with metric measurements and basic hand tools
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand and walk on concrete for full shift
Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying
Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
Ability to work independently and within a team
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
