Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operations Oversight: Manage receiving, storage, distribution, and warehouse upkeep; enforce company policies and best practices
Staff Leadership: Hire/trainschedules, evaluate performance of warehouse team
Inventory Control: Monitor levels, conduct audits, implement inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts) to prevent stockouts
Logistics Coordination: Plan inbound/outbound shipments; optimize layout and workflow [usa.jobs],
Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections, enforce OSHA/state safety regs, maintain a safe work environment
Budget Management: Control labor and supply costs to align with operational budgets
Continuous Improvement: Suggest process upgrades and rely on inventory metrics for operational decisions
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3 years in warehouse management or related field
Skills:
Strong leadership and staff development abilities
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication competencies
Ability to lift, perform physical tasks, and work in variable conditions
Familiarity with WMS/inventory systems, budgeting, safety standards
