Job Title: RTO Accounting Clerk
Job Summary:
The RTO Collections Clerk is involved in performing the collection of accounts and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and update of reporting and accurate records. The role will reconcile customer accounts, take payments by phone, and provide excellent customer service to our external and internal customers. The ideal candidate has superior computer skills, phone etiquette and time management.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions

Collection of payments for Rent to Own customers.

Resolve any payment conflict with Rent to Own customers.

Reconcile customer accounts.

Submit necessary collection letters and repossession notifications.

Perform other tasks and projects requested by the Accounting Analyst and Manager.
Qualifications and Skills:

Journal Entries
-
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
-
Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to quickly learn Leonard’s internal operating system.

At least 1–2 years of customer service in collections

Valid driver’s license.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, verbal (phone) and written.

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
