Primary Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Safely transport and organize raw materials, finished products, and components within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually, ensuring efficient workflow and storage.
- Feeding Production Lines: Supply production lines with necessary materials, ensuring a continuous and smooth manufacturing process. This may involve loading machines, monitoring material levels, and replenishing as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and products for defects or inconsistencies, reporting any issues to supervisors to maintain product quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels, conducting regular counts, and reporting discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, typically up to 50 pounds or more.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in material handling or production line feeding roles.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and quality control processes.
