Area is not climate control due to tobacco having to be at a certain temperature. It’s an area that will be dusty and menthol will be strong on occasions, must be okay with working in a team setting and occasionally working alone.
DETAILED JOB DUTIES • Strong attention to detail since you will be cleaning from top of the units to the floor. • Will be pushing carts with the tobacco that has been collected from cleaning it, weighting it and having it ready for material handler to take it to dumpster. • Will be using air hose to clean inside and outside units, occasionally using water hose. Water must not get water on belts. • Repetitive movements – you will be doing the same thing repeatedly. • Will be standing on platforms to clean more into detail smaller bulkers, units and conveyors. • Will be required to go up and down ladders and steps to clean carefully and detail the pans where tobacco is collected from the units.
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS USED • Ladders. • Air hose. • Water hose.
REQUIREMENTS • Lift, push and pull 50lbs. • Being able to bend, stoop, kneel and be on your feet throughout the whole shift. • Not afraid of heights. • Not having issues with a smoking environment.
