DEPARTMENT ENVIRONMENT:

This work area is not climate-controlled and may have strong tobacco and menthol odors. Employees must be prepared to work in varying temperatures and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. Duties require attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with team members to meet production goals.

DETAILED JOB DUTIES

  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Check out items needed for the day, including lift, radio, and scanner.
  • Communicate daily with CRS regarding safety, plan of the day, inventory levels, changeovers, and special events.
  • Perform shift handoff with preceding shift DIS when available.
  • Utilize MES to know where inventory is located.
  • Utilize Primary Aged Summary to ensure FIFO is followed.
  • Stock supplies for the next shift to maintain continuous operations.
  • When you are issuing Oxy Low product, you must put the box on a pallet, cut the blue pastc to open the bag, inspect the product for NTRM, secure the bag to the container with clamps, issue product to the carousel or canfeeder and complete filling out the Can Feed DORO Information Sheet.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. 
  • Strong communication skills for daily coordination with CRS and team members. 
  • Familiarity with MES and inventory management systems. 
  • Basic knowledge of Ignition software for process monitoring and control. 
  • Ability to follow FIFO principles and maintain accurate inventory flow. 
  • Analytical skills to monitor inventory, troubleshoot issues, and ensure process accuracy. 
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting, weighing, and data entry purposes. 
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform material handling tasks. 
  • Commitment to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
