Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to lead our quality department and serve as the technical authority for our integrated production facility. This role is responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our upholstery, wallcovering, and panel fabrics, managing the complex transition from raw fiber to finished high-performance goods. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure that every yard of fabric aligns with our reputation for excellence, balancing stringent aesthetic standards with operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
• Direct and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of precision and accountability from the lab to the shipping dock.
• Guarantee that all products meet or exceed industry benchmarks, including ACT Guidelines, Wyzenbeek/Martindale abrasion, ASTM E84 (wallcoverings), and rigorous colorfastness standards.
• Partner closely with Production Managers to diagnose root causes of defects, driving down re-work and maximizing first-quality yields.
• Act as the bridge between Design, Engineering, and the production floor to ensure a seamless and scalable manufacturing flow.
Safety:
• Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by the client.
• Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
• Maintain all 5S standards.
Qualifications
• 7+ years in textile manufacturing, with a proven track record in an integrated facility.
• Deep knowledge of weaving, textile chemistry, and the physical testing requirements for contract and residential interiors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and processes in a high-stakes production environment.
