Job Title: Fabrication
Shift/Hours/Days: 1st shift, 5am-3:15pm Monday-Thursday
Client Profile
The client is best known for manufacturing high-performance, heat-resistant textiles and thermal insulation products used in demanding industrial applications. Rather than producing consumer fabrics, the company engineers specialize in materials that protect equipment and people in extreme temperatures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install hardware and fasteners.
- Understand how to use basic hand tools
- Regularly lift parts weighing 20 – 30 lbs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using fabrication equipment.
- Operate tools and machinery such as saws, presses, drills, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and tolerances.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
