The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean production equipment and work areas to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment cleanliness, removing waste, restocking supplies, and supporting production by cleaning and replacing equipment components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Shift: 3rd shift- 12am-8am


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean production equipment and surrounding work areas using compressed air, vacuums, cloths, paper towels, brushes, brooms, dust pans, and putty knives
  • Remove dust, debris, glue residue, and other materials from equipment and production areas
  • Ensure equipment and workstations remain clean and organized throughout the shift
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

Production Support

  • Remove waste, cardboard, and other recyclable materials to designated disposal locations
  • Restock equipment complexes with required supplies and water buckets
  • Remove glue pots and other equipment components from production complexes
  • Transport glue pots and equipment components to the Gummer Room for cleaning
  • Return and replace cleaned equipment components to the appropriate production complex
  • Support production operations by maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and housekeeping standards
  • Identify and report equipment or housekeeping concerns to leadership
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with workplace cleanliness standards
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, industrial cleaning, or production experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
  • Ability to safely use cleaning tools and equipment
  • Ability to work safely around production equipment and machinery
