Client Profile
Our client is a leading bus automotive manufacturing facility dedicated to producing high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment. They are seeking an experienced Team Lead to support daily operations, drive production goals, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and motivate production associates to achieve daily production targets.
Conduct shift huddles, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance and attendance.
Oversee floor operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
Support machine setup, changeovers, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
Enforce all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and 5S workplace organization practices.
Perform visual inspections and quality checks while identifying and segregating nonconforming parts.
Train new hires on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
Assist with onboarding activities following completion of initial HR processes.
Maintain production documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives when needed.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
2-4 years of manufacturing experience; automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Bilingual Preferred
Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a production environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs require.
Basic computer skills and the ability to read and interpret production documents.
Understanding of manufacturing equipment operation and basic mathematical skills.
