Client Profile
Our client is a leading bus automotive manufacturing facility dedicated to producing high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and team-oriented environment. They are seeking an experienced Team Lead to support daily operations, drive production goals, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate production associates to achieve daily production targets.
- Conduct shift huddles, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance and attendance.
- Oversee floor operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Support machine setup, changeovers, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Enforce all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and 5S workplace organization practices.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks while identifying and segregating nonconforming parts.
- Train new hires on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
- Assist with onboarding activities following completion of initial HR processes.
- Maintain production documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives when needed.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience; automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Preferred
- Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs require.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read and interpret production documents.
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment operation and basic mathematical skills.
