CNC Machine Operator
Position: CNC Machine Operator
Department: Manufacturing/Production
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift
Why This Role Matters
The CNC Machine Operator supports manufacturing operations by safely operating CNC mills, lathes, and parts-washing equipment. This role ensures that parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and according to required quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and parts-washing machines
- Load and unload raw materials, finished parts, and equipment
- Stock materials and run parts according to production needs
- Follow specific work instructions to produce parts that meet required specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operations and production procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines and equipment
- Safely operate hand tools and machine tools while following all company safety guidelines

Required Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
- Previous manufacturing, machine-operating, or CNC experience preferred
Skills:
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and machine tools
- Ability to maintain accurate production records
- Basic equipment cleaning and maintenance skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC mills or lathes
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy
