Description: An Operational/Financial Analyst collaborates daily in the activities of revenue recognition, preparing/consolidating/analyzing financial statements, required disclosures, budgets, and key performance measures associated with projects and orders predominantly operating under the completed performance method. The following are the key position responsibilities but does not preclude the performance of other responsibilities by the incumbent. • Support Plant/Division/Business Unit management on all major presentations and analyses. • Analyze variances from plans/forecasts and recommend actions to maintain and/or improve performance. • Analyze monthly inventory levels for accuracy. • Must have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and company financial policies/procedures and systems. • Communication skills must be highly proficient to interact with Plant/Division/ Business Unit personnel, financial and non-financial personnel explaining areas of financial impact and achieve Plant/Division/Business Unit oriented results/solutions. • Manage fixed assets, profitability reporting, property tax reporting, etc. • Invoice-related activities that would include troubleshooting invoicing problems, working with Customer Service Reps to ensure correct invoicing, and some manual invoicing through SAP uploads. • Analysis of orders in the process to ensure there is timely conversion to revenue from shipping the orders. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: • BS/BA in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of six (6) years of financial experience. • Minimum of two years prior financial planning experience.
