Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician Shift/Hours/Days: 1st shift, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday Client Profile: Our client has been in business since 1948. Leader of state-of-the-art production facility able to support the manufacturing of the most critical and sophisticated metal components and assemblies. Key Responsibilities •Install and build fixtures for new production machinery, troubleshoot, and repair factory equipment, performs preventive maintenance for progressive dies. •Diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures, executing routine upkeep, and documenting work orders. •Fix broken or failing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems on production lines. •Run scheduled inspections, clean parts, replace worn components, and test machinery to prevent costly downtime. •Help set up, align, and calibrate new factory machines using technical manuals and blueprints. •Log completed tasks, parts used, and equipment status into the facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). •Follow strict rules like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe workspace. •Perform general plant maintenance as needed. •Ability to work independently or as part of a team. •Assist other Maintenance Personnel with any issues to include shutdown work, projects. •Complete CMMS work order request and Twisting maintenance request in a timely manner and complete all documents pertaining to the request. •Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor. •Problem solving and decision making. •Ability to gather and analyze all necessary data to make proper decisions daily. •Ability to locate and use available information to solve issues. •Collaborate with all parties to resolve issues. •Effectively communicates both in writing and verbally. •Demonstrates effective time management. •Maintains up to date and accurate information including key contacts, lead times etc. to effectively resolve issues and properly escalate when needed.
