Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary:
Operates job specific equipment and/or computer programs in order to print, assemble, bind, collate and fold a variety of products.
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
•Operates job specific equipment and/or computer programs in order to print, assemble, bind, collate and fold a variety of products
•Interacts with other manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth and efficient flow of orders
•Receives and stores shipments of goods
•Trains and oversees progress with temporary employees
•Reports equipment requiring repair to the Bindery Supervisor and the Mechanic/Maintenance Supervisor
•Examines products throughout the Bindery process for defects
•Attention to detail and Quality control
•Adheres to all safety procedures
•Other duties as assigned by the Bindery Supervisor
•Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
•Must be capable of bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
