Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG (argon) welding on stainless steel materials with a focus on high precision and cleanliness
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Weld, assemble, and fabricate components
  • Ensure all welds meet sanitary and aesthetic standards, including polishing and finishing
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform quality checks to ensure weld integrity
  • Follow strict safety and cleanliness protocols, especially in food/medical-related environments
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of stainless steel welding (TIG/argon welding) experience 
  • Proven proficiency in TIG (argon) welding techniques
  • Ability to work with thin-gauge stainless steel (16-20 gauge)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
  • Experience with sanitary welding standards preferred
  • Familiarity with food-grade or medical-grade fabrication is a strong plus
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Welding certification is a plus (AWS or similar)
