Warehouse Associate for a 3 month contract position (estimate)

Rustburg, VA location

Job Summary
 We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a 3-month assignment to work in our Rustburg location. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role handling various materials and packages, have a strong attention to detail, and have the experience to operate a forklift.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting items for shipment.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper packaging for distribution.
  • Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and accessible.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is needed.
  • Familiarity with materials handling processes and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve common objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
