Bilingual Plant GM
Title: Plant General Manager
Location: Reidsville, NC / On-site daily
Reports to: Corporate Plant Leadership & Headquarters in China
Scope: Entire U.S. Reidsville facility
Responsibilities:
• Lead and synchronize all plant operations—production, QA, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, safety
• Drive dual-directional alignment of U.S. site with Chinese HQ standards
• Team oversight: department heads in operations, maintenance, logistics, QA
• Direct recruitment, onboarding, bilingual training, performance management in English & Chinese
• Ensure regulatory compliance: FDA, GMP, OSHA, ISO
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives: process optimization, waste reduction, cost control
• Manage plant P&L, budgets, capital projects, and reporting
• Engage with local stakeholders—Rockingham County, City of Reidsville, NC Commerce, utilities
• Report performance metrics: production output, yield, safety rates (TRIR), OEE, cost per unit
Qualifications
• BS in Engineering/Operations/Business (MBA preferred)
• 7+ years in FMCG/paper manufacturing leadership; first plant startup a plus
• Fluent Chinese and English, with cross-cultural leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, ERP, GMP, QMS, NC regulatory environment
• Demonstrated P&L management and capital project execution in U.S.
• Bilingual team-building track record including HR, safety, continuous improvement

• Have 7–10+ years in manufacturing leadership, ideally FMCG/paper, with start-up experience
• Be fluent in Chinese and English, capable of cross-border communication and alignment
• Cover full plant operations: production, quality, safety, maintenance, logistics, engineering, cost
• Engage with local NC systems, incentives, hiring networks
• Report metrics, P&L, and build an operational culture from day one
