Bookkeeper
Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $35,000 to $50,000 annually, based on experience

A well-established commercial sign manufacturing and installation company is seeking a Bookkeeper to support its continued growth.
This position will manage the company’s day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities, including vendor invoice entry, routine payments, accounting documentation, and light customer invoicing.
The company partners with an external accounting office for complex accounting and financial reporting. You will help ensure the internal records and supporting information they need are accurate, organized, and readily available.

What You Will Do
The company completes commercial branding and installation projects across multiple states. You will help maintain the financial records connected to those projects while supporting routine bookkeeping needs throughout the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Enter and process weekly vendor invoices
- Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare checks and routine payments as needed
- Maintain organized vendor, payment, and bookkeeping records
- Enter bookkeeping information using Sage, formerly known as Peachtree
- Work with the company’s external accounting office to provide requested information and documentation
- Assist with questions, correspondence, or documentation involving state and federal agencies in coordination with the accounting office
- Help prepare straightforward customer invoices for service-related work
- Complete general data entry and routine bookkeeping responsibilities
- Communicate with vendors, invoicing staff, operations, accounting support, and leadership when information requires clarification
You will not be expected to arrive knowing the company’s systems. Training will be provided on Sage, internal processes, customer invoicing procedures, and the company’s customized software.
What You Will Bring
- Previous bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or accounting support experience
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organization and recordkeeping skills
- General computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems
- Sage or Peachtree experience is helpful but not required
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is an advantage
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Dependability, follow-through, and personal accountability
- A willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and adapt when priorities change
- The ability to collaborate with vendors, accounting support, operations staff, and leadership
Industry-specific experience is not required. A college degree is not required.

You will work closely with the Vice President of Operations and an accessible company owner who remains involved in the business and available to employees.
Leadership understands that new employees will need time to learn internal processes and focuses on coaching, correction, and continued development.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks
- Annual salary of $35,000 to $50,000, based on experience and overall fit
- Two weeks of paid vacation after 90 days, prorated during the first partial calendar year when applicable
