Position Summary:
The Line Lead is responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. This role is essential in driving productivity and supporting continuous improvement across the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production line team members
Ensure production schedules and output targets are met efficiently and on time
Train, coach, and support team members on proper procedures and safety practices
Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards
Troubleshoot basic production issues and escalate concerns when necessary
Maintain accurate production records and reports as required
Enforce safety guidelines and promote a clean, organized work environment (5S practices)
Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams
Assist with changeovers, setup, and line adjustments as needed
Lead by example to maintain a positive and productive team culture
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or agricultural processing environment preferred
Prior leadership or lead role experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Basic understanding of production processes and quality control
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts if needed
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required
