Job Title: Office Assistant
Job Summary:
A manufacturer of signs and awnings is seeking a qualified office assistant
Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
• Obtain permits for signage through city and county governments
• Run errands for office: Pick up permits, go to the bank, go to the post office, etc.
• Answer phones, assist customers, and other general office duties
• Data entry
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain adequate supply of materials needed to perform tasks effectively.
• Effectively clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean work space
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
• Strong knowledge of computers
• Experience with permitting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Customer service oriented
• Committed to quality, safety and communication
• Team-oriented and self-directed
• Background check required
• Drug test required
