Job description:
A highly respected client in the propane fuel industry is seeking Production Specialists to join their team immediately. Production Specialists operate in a team-based environment to ensure safe and efficient sand blasting, refilling, re-valving, requalifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders. Every cylinder is cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, and then delivered to tens of thousands of convenience stores nationwide.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Repetitive lifting and stacking of propane cylinders weighing up to 40 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the duration of the shift
- Outdoor and semi-covered work environment with exposure to varying temperatures
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7a-5:30p; occasional Saturdays and mandatory overtime as business needs change
Pay: $17.50/hourly
Responsibilities
- Performs washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label
- Dispatches cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations
- Completes Paint Line operations which includes loading cylinders in tank hanger (lifting filled cylinders overhead), applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger
- Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing)
- Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions
- Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation
- Stacks finished product
- Checks for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality in a production environment
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as business needs require
- Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred (not required)
