Job Title: General Laborer/ Kitter
Shift/Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm
Client Profile The client is best known as a third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management. Headquartered in Wytheville, Virginia, the company has served manufacturers and distributors throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast for more than 30 years.
Key Responsibilities
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (training provided if applicable).
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Organize inventory and maintain clean, orderly storage locations.
• Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized through daily housekeeping.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required if training is provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
