Job description: Shift: 8am-5pm , Monday to Friday , Some Saturdays
Job Duties: Testing – Collect samples (corrugated) from the production machine centers and follow ISO procedures for testing of the board/materials. All steps in this testing process are defined, and training will be conducted by Quality Control Manager. Perform quality observations, checks and short audits of various processes/functions. Complete testing reporting. Training in the quality control processes would be provided, to assist with other quality control procedures. Ability to use computer system programs. Assistant to the Quality Manager with other projects as needed.
Specific job-related skills, experience, and physical qualifications needed are: HS diploma or GED Excellent communication skills Basic math skills Manufacturing environment background – former supervision, leadership, machine operation. Background in the corrugator industry is preferred but not required. Excellent computer skills – Microsoft programs, especially Excel. Great attendance and reliable transportation are a must. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds. This position involves the ability to perceive and differentiate precise variations in color differentiation and evaluation accurately in support of quality and testing processes.
